There is paid street parking on South Beach Parade and in St Nicholas’ carpark opposite (card payments).  Merrivale Model Village also has a small Crazy Golf area and a tea room offering teas, snacks and lunches. I have been unable to reserve tables at the Tea Room so this is a DIY outing!  All-day tickets cost £9pp.
Saturday 27th June: Summer BBQ in Graham and Sue’s garden:
Aways a favourite but now in a new venue!  Thank you to Graham and Sue for opening up their new home and garden at Beech Lodge, Three Acre Close, Hoveton, NR12 8QL  (Three Acre Close is off Horning Road West, just past the Catholic Church; Beech Lodge is the first house on the right). Arrive from 12.30pm with your own chairs, drinks and food to cook. Come and enjoy a relaxed afternoon with lots of friends and in lovely surroundings. As always friends and family welcome.
Friday 10th July: Visit to Norwich Castle then lunch.
Meet at Norwich Castle at 10am.  Spend the morning exploring the Castle which now has disabled access to all areas.  Tickets cost £15.30 if bought a day in advance online, £17 on the day, and cover entry to all areas of the Castle and Museum, including the Gallery and special exhibitions – these include Exhibition of Contemporary Art and ‘Chain of Flowers’ by Miranda Boulton.  Re-convene for lunch at 12.30pm at Cote Brasserie, 29 Exchange St, Norwich. Book for lunch by 30th June.
Friday 24th July:  Ploughman’s Lunch in the Garden and Mini-Quiz, Ludham:
Thank you to Maggie and Peter who have invited us to a Ploughmans Lunch in their garden at The Grange, Catfield Rd, Ludham NR29 5QT at 11.30am.  A lunch of ham, cheese, salad and pickles with tea, coffee, fruit punch and cider, will be available from 12.30pm.  Please bring a ‘finger food’ style dessert to share, also your own chairs, cutlery and any preferred drinks.  Maggie and Peter’s special request – please bring a photo of your wedding to display…..just for interest and enjoyment! They are also preparing a short quiz for us, with answers found in and around the house and grounds – a fun way of having a wander and exploring both! Cars can be parked in the grounds however please car-share where possible; there is also street parking within a short walk.  Dogs are welcome but as there is easy access to the road, they should be kept close to hand. If it rains – we will meet indoors, if it’s very sunny – the garden has plenty of shade!  To aid catering, please book by 16th July.
